A wax melt, similar to a wickless candle, is a scented piece of wax designed to be gently placed atop a melter. This melter, powered either by electricity or a small tea light candle, gradually melts the wax, filling your space with a delightful and lasting aroma.

There's a variety of styles for melters, available in both electric and tea light versions crafted from ceramic or glass.

The choice between tea light or electric melters is entirely personal—some enjoy the flickering ambiance of a tea light, while others opt for the safety and flameless feature of electric melters, especially in homes with children or pets.

It's important to note that not all melters are suitable for wax melts; some are intended for oil burning. Always ensure the melter specifies its compatibility with wax melts before use! If using a tealight burner, use only 4-hour unscented tealights for safety.

The longevity of each wax melt cube typically ranges between 16 to 20 hours, although this duration may vary based on your choice of wax melter.

A tea light melter tends to generate a quicker and more intense aroma that diminishes with repeated use. Conversely, an electric melter offers a longer-lasting, subtle fragrance owing to the steady heat from its light bulb.

It is totally down to personal preference as not one melter is better than the other.

Limit the use of a tea light melter to a maximum of 4 hours. For electric wax warmers, it's safe to leave them on for up to 10 hours or until the wax melt ceases to emit fragrance.

Always prioritise safety when dealing with anything that generates heat.

Prior to launching our wax melts in the market, we meticulously adhere to numerous guidelines and laws. While wax melts themselves pose no fire hazard, it's important to consider the safety of the tea light used to melt the wax, as it is essentially a candle. If you have young children or pets and wish to use wax melts, we recommend keeping them out of reach or opting for an electric burner for added safety.

Typically, a single wax melt cube offers around 12-15 hours of fragrance. When the scent dissipates, it's time to replace your melt. To do so, allow the wax to liquefy by melting it.

Once melted, absorb the wax using cotton wool pads and wipe away any remaining residue. Your melter is now primed for a fresh wax melt!
